SUMMARY // 2026 Nanowrimo Calendar now available on my Patreon!
I was asked if I was going to do the Nanowrimo Word Counting Calendars again this year, and I had actually forgotten about them. Last year I had been working on new custom software to calculate the word counts and draw them for me based on the original design, but hadn’t finished, but I was able to add some hacks to spit out the calendar both in 5000 and 50,000 word versions in six colors. This used to take me a couple of days to do using a very cumbersome spreadsheet export followed by an import to InDesign for six different template files. I no longer have InDesign, so the past few years have relied on having old November calendars that happened to match-up with the current year.
This is the first year that I’m using the new generated calendar system. It’s not as pretty as before, but as I continue to work on this I’m sure it will start to get nicer. My dream goal is to have custom generators for all of my popular forms, which will make customization a bit easier.
Where to get the calendars
I’m uploading them to my Patreon Account as a free post, so anyone can download them! There are two downloadable zip packages, the 5K and 50K versions. Each package has all six color variations.
Thank you for your continued interest! If I hadn’t heard from anyone, I might have forgotten to do them!
For those of you wanting more word counting calendar, I’ll be releasing the 12-month 2026 Word Counting Calendar on Patreon also as a paid perk for any level of subscriber, probably in December.
