These are the leftover notes I took when working out the July post.
Stratagems
- chipping away at uncertainties, as opposed to pursuing a finish line or end goal might be a better way to work for me.
- reduced uncertainty results in lowered anxiety
- as uncertainties fall aways, new paths appear, and confidence grows as these paths yield certainties that can be reapplied in the future
- the end result is pretty much the same
- it also works from the manager / leadership side as well.
Barriers
There's another barrier when facing a mound of sorting and organizing things. The uncertainty is primarily how long it's going to take and this requires a high level of motivation.
- such tasks do require externalized PPMP or a very very long leadup time
- not worrying about finishing is probably best
- even starting a tiny fragment is a good thing, as it's likely to keep going.
A common threshold problem for both stratagems is starting. The initiating energy is always extremely high when undertaken solo.
Another barrier that comes to mind is audience optimization whereas I should be thinking of sri-kin optimization.

Then there's another barrier where I don't want to expose myself to bullies or judgement that is counter to my own goals, having to defend or be agreeable for the sake of getting along. This is where I feel I must be brave enough to be the example.

Important insights
While I could make the economic and social case for creating an online space, emotionally my desire is rather like a childhood storybook?: it's where "all the animals can be friends, playing together and making things that empower and elevate everyone". The darker version is that "all the animals" are survivors. They have experienced suffering because they were inconveniently different, exploited for their gifts, mocked for the social gain of others, and denied understanding. Many animals have been permanently impaired in some way. Some have taken their own lives to escape. The surviving animals dream of a place where they can be free to build a supportive environment where everyone can thrive free of the despair they have known.

This is a different set of insights from last month, so I think it's worth using that as the basis. There are also some new strategic insights:
Competent Sri is prosocially-motivated, but when there's no pressure I'm "Hot Mess Cheerful Sri" that morphs into one of the other Sri variants. Hot Mess Cheerful Sri is the expression of Sri-kin, a race of builders. As this is the energy I want to attract, it is what goes goes into the social medias:
- Medium will be the place for character expression writing (Hot Mess)
- David Seah Com will be the mainstream anchor (Competent Sri)
- DSriseah Com is like the workshop/lab that gives tours (Experimenter Hot Mess Sri)
- DSCafe is the social space (Envoy Sri).
